It's about time

Poetry

We're born and we learn,
learn how to live,
to love and to leave,
say goodbye
and eventually to die.

The poems in this collection deal mainly with that bit in the middle, between the beginning and the end. They explore some of the many facets  of love we experience in our lives, those connections we have with our parents, our children, our world and, of course, our lovers. 

And beyond that, our place in time, in the cosmos.

Occasionally, the poems may hint of a before or an after, suggesting that the middle is not something new we are coming to for the first time,  but something or someone we are rediscovering, revisiting. 

 We  are simply old friends with new faces travelling life together.

 It’s about time.
